Ganglion Surgery

A ganglion cyst operation, also known as ganglion cyst excision, is a surgical procedure to remove a noncancerous, fluid-filled lump (ganglion cyst) that typically appears near joints or tendons, most commonly on the wrist or hand. The surgery involves removing the cyst along with its stalk to prevent recurrence. While ganglion cysts can sometimes resolve on their own, surgery is recommended when they cause pain, limit movement, or become cosmetically concerning.
